MUSIC PERFORMANCES
Sharing the love and joy of music, live.
Music has always been a passion of mine. Since starting band in the fourth grade, I never would've guessed that playing the flute would lead me on such an adventure! I truly have enjoyed the journey of learning and growing as a musician, as well as sharing this journey with others through performing. Keep scrolling to check pictures, videos, and recordings of my live performances.

ENSEMBLES

ENSEMBLES AT MESSIAH COLLEGE
Fall 2016 - Spring 2019
During my three years at Messiah College, I have been involved in both instrumental and vocal ensembles. These include Women's Ensemble, Flute Choir, and Symphonic Winds, in which I was co-principle chair flute for two years. Click below to check out repertoire and recordings.

ENSEMBLES AT EASTERN UNIVERSTIY
Fall 2015 - Spring 2016
Although I only spent one year at Eastern University, I was involved in many ensembles. These included the Wind Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, St. Davids Orchestra Society and various chamber ensembles for performance classes and recitals. Click below to check out repertoire.

SENIOR RECITAL
November 10, 2018
A culmination of my years of private study, my senior recital represents years of practice and hard work, as well as a love of performing. My program represented works across the ages, featuring standard flute repertoire, such as such as Sergei Prokofiev's "Sonata in D," as well as extended technique pieces, such as a beatbox flute piece by Greg Pattillo. Click below to see the full program and listen to recordings.

JUNIOR RECITAL
September 30, 2017
My first true recital experience, my junior recital was done to challenge myself, not as a graduation requirement. In order to gain the recital experience, as well as chamber rehearsal skills, I completed this recital with a fellow music education major, a soprano vocalist. Works included a classical flute and piano duet by Philippe Gaubert, an extended technique piece by Ian Clarke, and more. Click below to see the full program and listen to recordings.
COMMUNITY PERFORMANCES
Since graduating from Messiah University & the ensembles I had the privilege of participating in, I have sought out opportunities to perform within the community. This searching led me to participating in the 2019 Winter Concert for the Point Loma Nazarene University Chamber Orchestra. Repertoire for this concert included Ravels' Mother Goose Suite & Saint Saens Carnival of the Animals. To check out my featured performances in "Voliere," movement 10 of Carnival of the Animals, click on the video to the right.
RECITALS
ELECTRONIC MUSIC
Spring 2017 - Fall 2018
Today's society is an increasing digital one, and music is no exception. Music technology has exploded over the past few years. In order to keep up with the changing times and expose myself to a different side of music than the classical works I study on a daily basis, I learned how to DJ. Using Serato software and a Pioneer DDJ-SX2 board, I learned the working of mixing and electronic music. I quickly found myself as Messiah College's first and only female DJ, as well as the winner of their 2017 Student DJ Competition. The world of electronic music has increased my ear for music through finding songs that mix and flow well together, as well showing me the key to a successful performance - when both the performer and the audience are equally engaged, enjoying the music together.
